The goal of Camp College is to prepare all students to make a successful transition into a rigorous high school curriculum. At Camp College learning is non-stop. We believe if students start strong, they are prepared to finish strong. We have an energized and dynamic group of teachers, coaches and staff members who have the qualifications, experience, innate teaching ability, and talent to inspire a strong finish.
Part of priming our students for a good entry into Franklin is teaching them how to be a part of a collaborative school culture. We believe team work is key. Since Camp College’s theme is a developing apps to make learning more accessible; students form teams, collaborate, form alliances, and compete for top performer honors and prizes. They travel from class to class with their team, a process that helps them build new relationships and maximize the benefits of cooperative learning.
