Green Society Makes Mats for Homeless
Green Society recently had a plastic grocery bag drive for a very good cause. Hui Jin, Co-President, discovered a program that used bags to weave sleeping mats for the homeless. Green Society members not only collected the bags, but they are busily learning how to weave the mats. The mats will be distributed to local shelters and soup kitchens.
