Franklin Key Club Wins Poster Contest

Franklin Key Club members traveled to John Ehret High School in Marrero on October 10th to learn about the service opportunities in the New Orleans area. Eighteen Key Clubbers and their sponsor Mr. Parauka participated in workshops on a variety of subjects. The theme of the rally was, “Racing to the Finish Line of Service”. Katie Boleware, Franklin’s Key Club President, encouraged the club members to attend the workshops on the “Live to Learn” and “Tools for Schools” projects sponsored by Division 4. Each involves working with students in other schools to improve their learning. The club’s poster created by Judy Wang and Katie Boleware won first place at the Rally. ( photos)
